Directorate of Environmental Affairs (Ministry of Environment and Tourism), Namibia
The DEA was created to assist in co-ordination of environmental activities in Namibia, and play an important role in promoting CBNRM. Their website contains all the basic information about how CBNRM works in Namibia, plus publications.

"Frame" at USAID
The FRAME web exists primarily to serve implementors of USAID-supported environmental initiatives in Africa. It has been designed and established under Strategic Objective 5 of the Office of Sustainable Development of the Africa Bureau at USAID. It exists as a place to share information, discuss key issues, resolve problems and find colleagues.

IIED
The International Institute for Environment and Development supports research and information exchange on CBNRM strategies. Their website has a resource centre, two searchable databases on "Participatory Learning and Action" and "Community Widlife Management," and downloadable documents.

IUCN-Botswana
The World Conservation Union - Botswana Office is involved in drafting environmental policies, strategies and legislation; formulating management plans; identifying the environmental interests and needs of the business sector; as well as providing support and capacity buidling to NGOs and CBOs in the country.

IUCN-ROSA
The World Conservation Union - Regional Office for Southern Africa is based in Harare, Zimbabwe and is the co-ordinating organisation of the SADC (Southern Africa Development Community) regional Natural Resource Management Project.
